At last night’s annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby League Council the officers elected included: Patron, Mr James Carlaw; president, Mr Cyril Snedden; vice-presidents, Messrs Rail (Wellington), A. 11. McKane (West Coast), Winter Cole (Canterbury), Geo. Gillett (South Auckland); selectors—North Island, Mr W. A. McClymont (Auckland), South Island, Mr J. Saunders (Christchurch); council’s selector, Mr A. Ferguson. The reinstatement of F. Lynsky and C. Brimble (Canterbury) was approved. The application of Trevor Hall (St. Helens, Lancashire) to play for his old club, Newton, was approved.
