ADDRESSES AT TE ANGA. There was a large attendance at Te Anga Hall to hear Captain Colbcck and Mr William Boyd speak on economic problems. Mr It. Miln presided. Mr Boyd said that the farmers, whose problems were legion and on whom the welfare of Hie Dominion rested, were confronted witti apparently insuperable difficulties. He then proceeded lo treat comprehensively features of Hie exchange controversy and the'main factors at issue. He also dealt with the Ottawa Conference and its tremendous possibilities. Captain Colbeck handled the subjects of tariffs and monetary problems. The speakers were loudly applauded. Questions from Ihe audience dis closed that an intelligent grip hud been acquired of the subject matter. Supper dispensed by Hie Women's Division concluded a successful function.
