CHASED FOR THEFT.
RUSSIAN SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Hanley Alckna, a Russian, on his appearance in ihe dock for theft, was recognised as a man who had been chased for theft from a shop on a prior occasion. Accused, who had been previously convicted for theft, got a term of six months’ imprisonment to-day.
