BOXING.
NORTHERN ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Thursday. “ Boxing in Auckland Is in a flourishing condition, although there have not been as many professional fights as in former years,” said Mr G. Bush, president or the Northern Boxing Association, at the annual meeting last evening. The association is in a sound financial position, having assets of £1539, most of which are on bank deposit. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Lord Bledisloe; president, Mr G. Bush; ex-officio president, -Mr E. A. Craig; vice-presidents, Messrs G. W. Hutchison, D. R. Caldwell, J. W.
