VALUE OF ADVERTISING.
POSTMASTER-GENERAL’S TRIBUTE OFFICE PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN. Sir Kingsley Wood, M.P., the British Postmaster-'General, addressing the Grimsby Chamber of Commerce, said that if only one call more per day were made from each telephone, the additional revenue would be £3,000,000 a year. The British Post Office was going on with its telephone publicity campaign. He was a great believer In newspaper advertising. Publicity and advertising were all the more necessary when times were difficult.
