TE KOWHA! BRANCH. At the annual meeting of the Te ■Kowliai branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union .Mr E. G. Hookin was in the chair. In giving a resume of the branch’s activities for tho season Mr llockin explained tliat tho decreased membership at Hie outset of the year somewhat discouraged the officers. The services of the organiser were obtained and a canvass was conducted’, which resulted in the addition of about a dozen new members. The branch was responsible for a great deal of educational activity. The election of officers resulted.President, Mr E. C. llockin; secretary, R. G. Cox; delegate io sub-provincial, Mr F. Onion; sub-delogales, Messrs E. Roberts and the president; vicepresidents, Messrs o. .1. Gorbov and K. Harris; assistant secretary, Mr J llockin.
