TE AWAMUTU PARISHIONERS. THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the parishioners of the Te Awamutu parish was held on Tuesday evening, when the vicar, Rev. S. R. Wareing, presided over an attendance of over 150. The vicar gave a resume of the activities in the parish during the year. There were 3821 people attending Communion during the year, an increase of 700 over the previous year, and more than double those of 1927. The treasurer, Mr J. G. Wynyawl, submitted the cash statement, which showed the expenditure exceeded the revenue by £122 19s lOd. The people's warden, Mr G. O. Jourdain, moved, “That on account of the present serious state of the parish finances, this annual meeting of the parishioners appeals to all church bodies holding funds to help the vestry by paying in to the general account of the parish the greater part of the funds they have in hand, thus pooling the whole resources of the parish.” The motion was carried. The sum of £4O out of the Parish Endowment Fund was \oted to the vestry. Officers were i lectori as follows: Vicar's warden, Mr 11. A. Swarhrick; people's warden. Mr G. o. Jourdain, auditor. Mr G. G.
