MELBOURNE, Jan. 17.
While a. police patrol was chasing some men in a stolen car at Clifton 'Hill last evening the police 'vehicle collided with a .truck cat an Intersection and capsized. Mr Ernest Thurgood, driver of the truck, was killed and his companion and live polciement were injured and sent to hospital. The fugitives in the stolen, car escaped. ' ■ • ' i’
