The Communist leaders have ordered all unemployed in the north to March' oh Darwin. This follows the unsuccessful attempt to secure the release of six Communists who were imprisoned. Some Chinese shopkeepers have already barricaded their shops ready for eventualities. It is disolosed that during the Pine Creek disturbances the police fired six shots into the hospital, from which trouble-makers refused, to budge. Later the Riot Act was read and the men then left. The Minister of Home Affairs stated: , /
"I hope foroe will not 'be necessary at Darwin to enforoe order, but If It Is It will be used."
