Two masked men, one carrying a rifle, entered the promises of the Bank of Now South Wales at Edendalc, 23 miles from Invercargill, to-night. It is staled that, the manager and his wife were in I lie kitchen, to which the intruders made their way. One man Is reported to have attacked the wife of the manager, and the oilier is believed to have held up the manager with the rifle, but apparently without success. A detachment of police was sent from here immediately on receipt of the messtge.
