CHARRED REMAINS IN FIRE

On November 19 a sheepfarmer in the Lake Ranges, near Bungendorc, forty miles from Goulhourn, found the remains of a large fire. An examination of Ihe ashes disclosed hones apparently lliosc of a human-being, a gun barrel partly mcllcd, a watch, and a small key. Intensive inquiries by the police, extended to London, where Scotland Y'ard lias traced the makers of the key and its Australian destination. These facts, coupled with research by local scientists have resulted in the establishment or the identity of llic dead man as Sydney James Morrison, aged 21, a resident of Bondi. Inquiries are proceeding in an effort io discover how Morrison met his dcaill.
