WELLINGTON CLUB. NEW PRESIDENT ELECTED. (Ey Telegraph.—Pres» Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. At the annual general meeting of stewards of the Wellington Trotting Club, Mr J. E. August was unanimously elected president, vice the late Mr R. A. Armstrong. Mr August is an old member of the club, and held the postion of steward for many years. He served on the Judicial Committee, and for a time was the club’s representative to the Trotting Conference.
