MALE TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION. WAIKATO BRANCH FORMED. A meeting of teachers was held in Hamilton to discuss the formation of a branch of the proposed New Zealand Men Teachers’ Association, Mr Campbell Boyle, president of the local Headmasters’ Association, being voted to the chair. The meeting was addressed by Mr G. K. Hamilton, of Auckland, on the aims and objects of such an association, and the proceedings were most enthusiastic 'throughout, representatives being present from tho surrounding district, also the King Country. it was unanimously decided to form a Waikato branch, and a strong executive was set up, with Mr Hall (Hamilton West) as president and Mr J. S. Leech (Hamilton East) as secretary. The association promises to All a long-felt want in the district.
