AMBULANCE DIVISION.

PRESENTATIONS TO OADETS. A pleasant evening was spent by cadets of the Hamilton Ambulance Division and their parents at the Ambulance Station last night. Mr Cobb, the district officer, presented the following boys with badges and certificates: —R. Brasell, H. Ghesterman, R. Enright, N. Gore, I. Mitchell, L. Mitchell, N. Mac Diarmid, F. McLaohlan, T. Osborne, J. Street. Several cadets gave displays of bandage work. Cadet Superintendent A. H. Boulton spoke in detail of the work necessary for the gaining of the badges. District Officer Cobb outlined the activities of the brigade in the North and South Islands.

Mrs Owsley spoke of the necessity for co-operation between cadets and the Sunshine League on brightening the lot of patients between the ages of 11 and 16.

Arrangements will be made in the near future to organise a Girl-Cadet Division.
