Personal. Mrs A. I. Walker lias returned from a viist to Wellington, where she attended the annual Dominion Conference of the Women’s Division cf the ■N.Z.F.U. Miss J. Cassidy, who has been on the staff of 'the Waikato Hospital for some years, lias returned to her home at ICereone. Mrs 11. M. Brown is on a visit to Morrinsville. Card Afternoon. The Morrinsville Croquet Club held an enjoyable card afternoon in the Regent Theatre, Mesdames J. Mackay, Ramsay, Stirling and Clark acting as hostesses. The winners of the bridge prizes were Mrs A. Needham and Miss Tolerton. Mesdames Anderson and G. Irvine won the 500 prizes. Among those present were: Mesdames T. Martin, G. Howie, E. Jackson, L. Echlin, S. Parlour, N. Howie, A. Needham, T. Davis, G. Irvine, A. J. Skinner, C. Dickensen, J. Henderson, 11. Manuel, 11. Howie, P. J. Cooper, J. Butler, Gray, H. Brown (Auckland), D. Craig, Anderson, J. L. Faulkner, Clark, Meharry, and 'Miss Tolerton.
