MONEY TO BE WON
The Arlington Park Jookey Club (Chicago) will distribute at least £120,000 in added money at Its .30 day*’ meeting commencing next month. The principal race will be the three-year-old event, the Arlington Classic, which oarrles £14,000 added money. John D. Hertz, the chairman of the executive committee, has ordered a British totallsator to replaoo the mutual maohlhes at Arlington Park. The Amerloan Derby was run at Washington Park (Chicago) on June 20, when It was anticipated the winner’s share was £12,000 (60,000 dol.). The Washington Park meeting also lastod 30 days, and 1700 different horses competed. Of these about 1000 wore stabled at Washington Park, and the remainder at Lincoln Fields, another Chicago oourse.
