INQUEST ON THE VICTIMS. DEATHS ENTIRELY ACCIDENTAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) GREYMOUTH, Thursday. At an inquest to-day into the Union Hotel fire tragedy on Sunday, when four men lost their lives, the coroner, Mr Meldrum, returned a verdict that deaths occurred from suffocation and burns before the arrival of the fire brigade. The evidence showed that it was impossible to do more than was done to attempt to save the lives of deceased. The origin of the fire was accidental.
