NEGLIGENT DRIVING.
MAN SENT TO GAOL. A VERY BAD CASE. FAILED TO REPORT ACCIDENT* (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. A month’s imprisonment and fines totalling £2O were imposed on Herbert Dymond, a tomato grower, by the Magistrate, Mr Mosley, to-day, for negligent driving, failure to stop after an accident, and failure to report. “ This is one of the worst cases to come before me," said the Magistrate. “ There is only one thing to do—send him 'to gaol-" Defendanl knocked over a motor-cyclist and the cyclists’s sister, badly injuring them.
