THE BAPTIST VIEWPOINT. AUCKLAND, Thursday. At the annual conference of the Auckland Auxiliary of the Baptist Union of New Zealand yesterday, the following resolution, moved by Dr. J. J. North, principal of the Baptist College, was adopted: “ The Auckland Auxiliary of the Baptist Union expresses pleasure at the recent utterances of Archbishop Averill in the interests of Christian unity. While unable to believe that corporate union between the Anglican and Baptist Churches Is possible, this auxiliary declares Its readiness to co-operate with all. Christian people in serving the social and religious needs of the people of this country.”
