OBITUARY.
MRS MARION SEABROOK. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The death has occurred of Mrs Marion Seabroolc, at the age of 58 vears. Deceased was Hie wife of Mr Albert D. Seabrook, advertising manager in Auckland of New Zealand Newspapers.
CARDINAL ROULEAU
OTTAWA, May 31
A message from Quebec reports the death of Cardinal Raymond Rouleau, Canada’s third Cardinal, aged G 5. He was ordained a priest in 1892, and was famed throughout Canada as a mission preacher, lie was appointed Archbishop of Quebec In 192 G and raised to the Cardinalate in 1927. Cardinal Rouleau had been in illhealth since last summer, when lie was seriously injured in a motor-car accident. MR GEORGE COLLINGRIDGE. SYDNEY, June 1. The death has occurred of Mr George Collingridge, formerly a wellknown artist, aged 84. He was born in England and spent his early life in France, where he studied under Jean Corot, whose only pupil he was. For several years Mr Collingridge was with the Graphic and the London Illustrated News. Later he settled in Australia and for many years was one of Sydney's hest-known painters. i
