COMPETITIONS AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Saturday. The Manukau Amateur Cycling Club held two races this afternoon. Results— Junior Race, 7} miles —11. V. Gordon, scr, riding time 23.12, 1; I. C. Bellini, 30sec, 23.42, 2; J. 11. McLachlan, scr, 23.12 2-5, 3; G. A. I. Thompson, 50sec, 24.2 3-5, 4; P. H, Bicknell, 3.0, 26.28, 5. Gordon registered fastest time, 23.12, a junior course record. Senior Race, 10 miles—R. T. Batson, 3.30, riding lime 3.42, 1; C. Rae, 4.30, 32.15, 2; K. N. Clark, 5.0, 32,58. 3; Ron. G. Foubister, scr, 28.32, 4. Ken Spragg, 2.30, 31.6, 5; Stewart Baird, J .-40, 30.27, 6. Foubister's Lime of 28.23. besides being the fastest, was a course record. The Auckland Amateur Athletic ami Cycling Club’s B.V mile race resulted: I. C. Laloli 1, B. Scott 2, May 3. Winner’s lime, 24.50, fastest time, H. Me Elroy, 23.24.
