INGENIOUS BURGLAR.
DRAPER’S STORE ENTERED. ARTICLES OP CLOTHING MISSING. An ingenious burglar broke into the premises of (he "Little Red Shop," u drapery store, owned by Mr ABirch, in Ward Street, Hamilton, during the week-end. 'Entrance was effected through the (back door, which has an ordinary type of lock attached-. The key was left in the lock on the inside, and the intruder, making use of a place of wire, pushed the key out. He then, apparently, put the wiro under the'door and pulled the key outside. There was a desk with four drawers In the office. Three of the drawers were not locked, but the lop righthand one was locked.
The burglar pulled out the lower right-hand drawer and cut a hole in tjic bottom of the locked drawer. Fortunately there was no money in the drawer, but the intruder removed fevcral articles of clothing.
