Mr Fair,bairn, one of the Cambridge undergraduates, who lias just completed the llight from England to Australia, when trying out his .plane, landed on a distant beach and wa3 unable to rise in the sand. The visiting aviators became apprehensive and made a search. They located him and helped him to move his aeroplane lo safely from the rising tide. Re will probably not get away from Darwin to-day.
