WAIKERIA INSTITUTE

VISIT OF CONCERT PARTY. The inmates of the Waikeria Borstal Institute were entertained for a couple of hours last night by a concert party from Hamilton, under the guidance of Mr F. A. de la Mare, local president of the Howard League. Mrs Money sang a number of songs very charmingly, to the great enjoyment of the listeners, while Mr George Wheeler’s line baritone voice was heard to good effect. Mrs Lutman played the accompaniments with skill. Mr J. O'Grady sang, and gave a talk on "Big Game Hunting on the Western Front,” which greatly interested and entertined the audience.
