DRAGGED BY A RACEHORSE. APPRENTICE KILLED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. Tuesday. A youlh named Archibald Dunford, an apprentice to the Hiecarton trainer, Mr Murray-Aynsley, was killed during I mining work this morning. He (Dunlord) was ridiing Kakara on lo the track to gallop, when the filly bucked him off. The lad’s foot caught in Ihe stirrup, and he was dragged some distance, during which he was severely kicked, dying shortly afterwards from his injuries.
