HAWKE CUP CHALLENGE* 1 SOUTH CANTERBURY’S BID. MATCH STARTING FEBRUARY 6. The secretary of the Waikato Cricket Association has received advice from the' New Zealand Cricket Council that South Canterbury will be th'e next challengers for the Hawke Cup, which Waikato won from Taranaki at Christmas. South Canterbury have advised that February 6, 7 and 9 will be suitabl# dates. .
