RUN OVER BY TRAIN.
both LEGS AMPUTATED. <Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. A serious shunting accident occurred at Burnside this afternoon, when the assistant-district railway engineer, Air. Charles Gardiner Wilson, was run over by some trucks and rereceived severe injuries to both legs. • Mr. Wilson was taken to hospital, where it was found that his legs were 'so severely mangled that amputation was necessary. Mr. Wilson is a single man.
