VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY. ACTION FOR DAMAGES FAILS. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Damages amounting to £1749 were claimed in the Supreme Court to-day by Henry. James Cornwall, a labuorer, of Ashburton, who proceeded against Frank Fussell, a taxicab proprietor, of Ashburton, in a case which arose out of a collision. The jury found that, defendant, Fussell, had not been guilty of negligence. Judgment ‘‘was, therefore, given for defendant.
