INDIAN CONFERENCE.

RECEPTION TO THE PRINCES. DINNER AT THE PALACE. (Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Nov. 5 The King and Queen entertained at at banquet in the State dining room, Buckingham Palace, the Indian Princes and chiefs who are in London to attend the Round Table Conference on India. The scene was a magnificent one, the Princes being attired in robes of ceremony.

The' guests, who numbered 50, included the Queen of Spain, the Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of York and other members of the Royal Family. The third informal meeting of the British-Indian delegation to the conference was held in St James’ Palace to-day, the Aga Khan presiding. The Secretary of State for India, Mr Wedgwood Benn, addressed the meeting and at his suggestion seven members were selected to confer with representatives of the other delegations and with Mr Benn about the agenda and procedure for the conference.
