ARAPUNI AND HAMILTON*
RECOMPENSE ASSURANCE. MINISTER’S REPLY. In answer to the Hamilton Borough Council's request that the Government should undertake to recompense the borough in the event of further disturbances at Arapuni causing damage at Hamilton, the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. W. B. Taverner, states that the representations have been noted and will receive attention. Tne Council would be advised furthef on the subject at an early date.
