AVIATION IN DOMINION.
NEW PLYMOUTH TO WELLINGTON REGULAR SERVICE COMMENCED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The first regular aerial passenger service to be conducted in New Zealand was opened to-day between New Plymouth and Wellington for Taranaki Airways, by the company’s pilot, Squadron-Leader G. A. C. Gowper, who landed at Rongotai with a passenger. ’’ Two De Soutter machines are to he used, and at present one return trip a week is planned. The service will be extended as traffic warrants. The trip can he made regularly in two hours.
