LADIES’ GUILD.

The Hamilton East Ladies’ Guild held an “At Home” in Pearson’s Hall on Thursday afternoon. Mrs Parker and Mrs Newton were hostesses. During the afternoon the guessing competitions were drawn. Mrs A. Ramsay won the hearth rug, Mrs Skelton the nightdress, Mrs Masters the tea cosy, Mrs McKenzie the pink lady and Mrs Forster the blue lady.
