DR. E. M. BRISSENDEN. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright SYDNEY,. October 31. The death has occurred of Dr. E. Mayliew Brissenden, K.C., aged 67, after a brief illness. LADY JAMES CARROLL. GISBORNE, Saturday. Lady Carroll, widow of the late Sir James Carroll and high chieftainess of the last Coast Maori tribes, died to-day. MR GEORGE TAYLOR. AUCKLAND, Saturday. The death has occurred of Mr George Taylor, an old military veteran and a resident for the Auckland Province for the last 62 years. MR MICHAEL BUTLER. ■■ AUCKLAND, Saturday. The death is announced of Mr Michael Butler, a member of the staff of the Auckland Bus Company, and well-known in motor circles throughout the Auckland Province. MR FRANCIS WATSON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TE PUKE, Friday. The death has occurred of Mr Francis E. Watson, an old resident of the Te Puke district, aged 74 years.
