A SURPRISE PARTY.

for MISS ADELINE JONES. A large party, organised by Mr Clarrie Lord, took Mr and Mrs Edward Jones, “ Avoca,” Hamilton, by Surprise on "Wednesday evening. The was the twenty-first birth■day of Miss Adeline Jones, who was the recipient of many expressions of esteem and popularity. A happy time ■ ensued with competitions and games, while musical items were rendered by Mrs McMullen, Miss Flynn, Messrs C. Lord, and Sweeney. The evening was brought to a close in the early hours with cheers and the singing of “Auld Syne.”
