BERLEI, LTD.
FINE RANGE OF CORSELETTE3. Marshall Field and Company, of Chicago, who employ 15,000 people; who have a quarter of a million customers every day; who have a staff of 107 saleswomen in the corset department alone; who have, to use their own words, “ permanent representatives constantly journeying the world in tireless quest of the world’s famous merchandise.”
Marshall Field and Company have imported Berlei Foundatins to offer the discriminating customers of the world’s largest store. They have imported them because they measure up to their own stated requirements of “ the world’s finest merchandise.” In New Zealand Berlei's may be bought at about half the price the women of America will gladly pay for them.
Scientific research, pioneered and conducted in New Zealand and Australia by Berlei, has established the fact that there are Five Fundamental Figure Types into which all women fall. That, is why Berlei makes five complete ranges of foundation garments—one for each figure type.
Just a year ago, Berlei opened -a factory in London, and New Zealand
visitors to London may now find their favourite Berlei’s in such stores as Selfridges, Army and Navy Store, Barkers, Marshall 'and Snelgrove, Marian Jacks, Gorringe, Darlings and Wilkies, and many others. Beriei (N.Z-) Ltd., Lome Street, Auckland.
