N.Z. SPORTING REVIEW.

The sportsman is well catered for in the current week’s number of the “N. Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review.’’ The Wellington Racing Club’s Spring Carnival and the Waikato Hunt Club’s meeting are excellently illustrated, while the Auckland Trotting Club's meeting also enjoys prominent space. Yachtsmen will be thrilled by t)ic exclusive pictures of the America Cup contest between the Shamrock and the Enterprise. The Pageant of Youth at Kilbirnie occupies an enjoyable page, and the visit of the Dutch Fleet to Auckland is well illustrated. The double centre pages arc filled with an attractive medley of overseas holiday scenes on the sea and river. The coloured supplement, a gorgeous representation of a film star in her Oriental costume, forms a striking contrast to the quiet charm of the frontpiece of Marilyn Miller. The miscellaneous division contains many wonderful photographs.
