GRANTED AT FIRST PORT. INSTRUCTIONS TO COLLECTORS. (By Telegraph.—Prcs= Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Government lias decided to accede to the request of the Southern merchants that collectors of customs duties should accept entries for goods as soon as the importing ship arrives at the first port of call. The Prime Minister, Hon. G. Forbes, announced that collectors of customs at all ports are to accept entries for goods as soon as importing ship arrives at first port of call.
