Surrey v. Somerset. —Surrey: First innings, 158 (Young took four wickets for 50 runs) ; second innings, 161 for four wickets, declared. Somerset: First innings, 179 (Peach took five wickets- for 25 runs) ; second innings, 50 for two wickets. Somerset won on the first innings. Yorkshire v. Gloucester —Yorkshire: Yorkshire, first innings, 462 OOldroyd 127, Wood 91). Gloucester, first innings, 125 (Verity took five wickets for 18 runs) ; following on, they made 150 (Rhodes took four wickets for 21 runs). Yorkshire won by an innings and 187 runs. Glamorgan v. Sussex.— Glamorgan: First innings, 210. Sussex: First innings, 100 for seven wickets. The match was drawn. Northants v Essex- —Northants: First innings, 458. Essex: First innings, 172 for five wickets. Th 9 match was drawn. Worcester v. Leicester. —rWore ester : First innings, 222. Leicester: First innings, 58 (Perks took seven wickets for 20 runs) ; following on they made 152. Worcester won by an Innings and 12 runs.
