THE DANDY DOZEN.
CONCERT AT NGARUAWAHIA. TO ASSIST DRAUGHTS CLUB. A concert for the purpose of raising funds to assist in the cost of holding the coming New Zealand championships in Hamilton was held by the Ngaruawahia Club. Talent for • the * concert was supplied by Mrs Ross, of Hamilton, and her Dandy Dozen. Before the concert, Mr Warburton briefly introduced the performers and explained the aim of the local Draughts . Club. The varied, programme submitted was well received, almost every item beinc; encored.. Tne programme was * as follows: —Opening Chorus, Company;' Solo, Ken Eade; Toe. Dance, Daphne Gould; “47 Ginger Headed Sailors,” Gladys Ross and Compapy; Solo,” E. H. Quill; Irish Jig, Gladys Ross; “Love’s Own Kiss,” Della Clapham and Company; Elocution, Tracey Gould; “ On the Road to Anywhere,” Stewart Buckland and Company; Solo, Della Clapham; “Dear Old Home,” Gladys Ross and Dorrie Rhodes; Elocution, Zelda Mason; “ Something Seems Tingling,” Ted Quill and Company; “ Plantation Melodies,” The Company.
