HUNTLY ACCIDENT.

CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES. BOTH CASES SETTLED. It was announced by Mr H. T. Gillies for plaintiffs and Mr W. King for defendant, before His Honour, Mr Justice Herdman, at Hamilton, to-day, that the ,claims by Margaret Armstrong for £1531 and Francis Anna Armstrong, for £1023 against Reginlad Waite Taylor, insurance inspector of Auckland, for damages for injuries received in the Iluntly accident, had been settled. It will he remembered that Taylor last week was acquitted by a jury at Hamilton of a charge of negligently driving his car on January 24 last, as to injure the two women.
