OFFENCES BY MOTORISTS,,
PAY £200,000 IN FINES.

The idea of the police activity against motorists in England is revealed bv the fact that motorists paid over £200,000 in fines last year. Over 250,000 were summoned, and In addition 69,000 were cautioned. Among the offences were the following:—Manslaughter, 74; drunkenness, 1730; reckless driving, 27,000.
