The lay-out of this interesting stand features a working miniature New Zealand railway on which is running a farmers’ train. We first see the train iii the Mamaku district, after which it traverses the rich fertile Waikato farming lands, until it conic's to Farmdale, an imaginary Waikato station, where in the background are cowsheds, pig styes, fencing posts, silos, and the limitless number of farm requirements to be made from this timber, which, as stated previously, can be purchased in truck lots at special prices this week. ' This firm is 'also exhibiting many beautiful specimens rof Tawa panels, Tawa flooring and furniture. Some remarkable examples >of Rimu, Matal, Tawa, Totgxa, Tanakaha, White Pine make a ready appeal to the eye. In the centre of the stand is a pillar on which are demonstrated the various classes of timber used for weatherboarding and flooring. To pomplete the general satisfaction that arises from a visit to this display is the knowledge that the timber is New Zealand grown and produced throughout and no better argument in favour of the Dominion-wide plea .for support of New Zealand made goods could be put forward, than such a showing as this. To buy New Zealand timber is to buy the best, thus supporting our own country’s manufacturers and helping considerably to relieve unemployment. 787
