TE AWAMUTU CRASH.
INQUEST FORMALLY OPENS ADJOURNED SINE DIE FUNERAL -OF THE VICTIMS. (Special to Times.) TE AWAMUTU, - Friday. An inquest was formally opened on the two victims of the air smash, ■Captain A. W. Saunders and A. W. Minchim, this morning, when the bodies were identified. It was stated that Captain Saunders was a single man* aged 40, whose mother, brothers and sisters reside at Perth, Western Australia. The inquest was adjourned sine die. The funeral of the victims will take plaoe this afternoon, when a combined service will be held in St. John’s Church, Te Awamutu. Members of the Auckland, -Hamilton, Te Awamutu, and , other district aero clubs will attend. 'The Auckland Aero Club will be represented by the club captain, Captain J, Seabrook, the secretary, Mr L. W Swan, and Captain W- S. R. Bloomfield and Mr S. Andrew, members of the committee. -Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour, a pupil of the Auckland Club, and a fellowmember of Captain Saunders’ will assist at the service.
