SHOW PRELIMINARIES.

THOUSAND PEOPLE WORKING. HOST OF ATTRACTIONS. It is estimated that over 1000 people will be working within the Waikato Winter Show Buildings to-mor-row. Some will be putting the finishing touches to elaborately-arranged stalls; some will be toiling with the interior decorations and facilities; many will be laying out exhibits, representing almost every phase of farming and industrial activity, to the best possible advantage. Monday will be the last day for preparations for Waikato’s big annual exhibition, but the show staff is finalising as much business as possible to-mor-row. Signs of the approaching show week are everywhere apparent. Already there has been a big influx of commercial and advertising men from all parts who have long recognised the enormous publicity value of the show. Side-show proprietors have also appeared in large numbers-and have indicated that the amusement area this year will provide a greater host of attractions than ever. Added interest is given to the fixture this year by the three days’ visit of the Governor-General and Lady Bledtsloe, in whose honour a round of entertainments has been arranged.
