Sinclair won the professionalgolf championship of Queensland with a score of 151. F. Eyre, J. Ouarton, and A. Spence, with 154, were next. MASTERTON LADIES’ CLUB. (By Telegraph.—-Press Association.) MASTERTON, Thursday. The first open championship of the Masterton Ladies’ Golf Club concluded to-day in cold weather. The final was won by Mrs S. C. Williams (Maslerton), who beat Mrs Steel, 3 and 1. Mrs Bidwell (Wairarapa) won the Lansdowne handicap event. • ROTORUA CLUB. CONTRACT FOR NEW 'CLUB HOUSE ROTORUA, Thursday. The contract for the new golf house at Rotorua has been let. The building will be a commodious one, with a floor space of about 1001’t by 50ft. The base will be concrete and the remainder stucco finish, with a tile roof. The plans provide for an attractive structure with spacious rooms', and fitted with every convenience for members and visitors. It is expected that the building will be ready for use in time for the Rotorua open tournament.
