BACCARAT LIBEL' CASE. DEATH OF SIR W. G. CUMMING. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, May 20. The death is announced of Sir William Gordon Gumming, aged 81. lie was accused of cheating at cards at Tranbycroft in 1890, when King Edward was a member of a house party. The upshot was the celebrated Baccarat libel case, in which King Edward gave evidence.
