THE BIG EXHIBITION.
JUDGING DAIRY SECTION. SEATING ACCOMMODATION. The grading of the dairy exhibits of the Waikato Winter Show is progressing apace and it is anticipated that judging of the record number of exhibits will be. completed by to-morrow night. More .than usual interest is being evinced in this important section of-the show this year and the findings of the judges will be followed with interest by factories throughout the Dominion.
Special attention has been paid to the elaborate decorating of the entrance’ to the show building with pungas and ti-tree. The treatment of the entrance is most effective and when lit up at night with coloured lights should make a very striking display. Seating accommodation for visitors has been adequately provided for in a raised platform over the home industries section and will prove a welcome addition to the facilities of the big exhibition.
Carpenters are busily engaged in setting out and erecting the stalls and display stands and each country mail is bringing in a host of exhibits.
