PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT.

OBJECTION BY SOCIETY. TO USE OP DESCRIPTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. In an Auckland telegram published, B. S. Spencer was described as a public accountant. To this the New Zealand Society of Accountants takes exception, on the ground that the term is protected by Act of Parliament, and can only be used by members of the society who are in public practice. The society stales that Spencer is not, and never lias been, a member, and is not entitled to use tile description of public accountant.
