CONTROL OF CYCLING.
ACTION BY THE UNION. ASSOCIATION’S PROPOSALS. CHIEF OBSTACLE TO ACCEPTANCE. (By Telegrapn.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The New Zealand Cycling Union has referred the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association’s delegates’ proposals for cycling control to the Manukau Club and a definite reply will be made in the first week of May. The opinion here is that the chief obstacle to acceptance is tile local centre's power to veto the cycling committee’s decisions.
