Scullin, when questioned about a cablegram from London to tlje effect that a spectacular proposal has been made by an Anglo-Australian financial group associated with powerful United States interests. This was that a fund of £20,000,000 should be established to rehabilitate overseas finances and bring exchange back to normal. The Prime Minister said Australia would approach the overseas moneymarket as soon as an opportunity presented itself. x
